50 mm 3NX monofilament fiber
Mondo compared 11 different types of fibers, in order to find a new polymer able to optimize:
- Molecular alignment and orientation
- Long-term consistency of technical characteristics
- Resiliency
- Friction resistance

The new semiconcave structure with three asymmetric center spines provides optimized recovery and dimensional memory. Turf blades provide superior elastic memory and resistance to matting. Extra thickness, the new semiconcave structure and the three asymmetric center spines withstand wearing better. Fibers do not split. This characteristic improves the resiliency of fiber and improves the biomechanical characteristics of turf system.
Thermobonded backing
Engineered and developed by Mondo, this fully thermoplastic artificial turf backing derived from a newly innovative and patented manufacturing process is easier to install and recycle than traditional polyurethane-coated artificial turf backing.
Ecofill® Infill
The Ecofill Infill is free of carcinogenic substances, has a 70 percent lower energy response than traditional infill materials, sees 80 percent lower frequency vibrations vs. traditional infill and is 40 percent more dense than traditional infill. Ecofill has consistent resiliency across the entire playing field area ensuring optimal athletic performance, consistent Gmax and shock absorption, and may reduce the risk of injuries.
FTS drainage/performance pad
The FTS pad is made of recycled tires triturated, treated and encapsulated sandwich-like between two polyester layers. The recycled rubber is encapsulated in polyurethane eliminating any contamination due to recycled tires. The Fine Tuned Panel eliminates the risk of compaction and migration of the granule compared to traditional systems; this guarantees that the initial biomechanical characteristics of the field remain unchanged over time.
The unparalleled vertical drainage rate, lateral transmission and water retention rate guarantee a 50 percent increase in drainage capacity versus the traditional interlocking polypropylene beads and drainage tiles.
